It girl brand Miaou has just revealed its second archive collection, breathing new life into the fashion label’s classic styles and silhouettes.
The timeless selection includes garments from past seasons as well as vintage collectible pieces, paying homage to the brand’s most pivotal moments since its founding in 2017. In its short history, Miaou’s trademark sultry corsets and form-fitting dresses have been worn by the likes of Gigi Hadid, Alexa Demie and model Paloma Elsesser, who has collaborated with the company.
Miaou’s sophomore archival launch celebrates its commitment to circular fashion, utilizing carefully considered materials, as well as enforcing ethical and mindful production practices. “Youthful fashion doesn’t need to mean fast fashion. Miaou is about creating desirable clothing with longevity. It’s an honor to be able to re-introduce archival pieces to our customers, old and new, that might have missed the chance to purchase the first time around,” shares creative director Alexia Elkaim in an exclusive press release.
The curated mélange features ready-to-wear apparel, as well as footwear, hand-selected by Elkaim herself, providing loyal fans with items chosen by the brain’s behind the Instagram-favorite brand. A stunning Bellville Sassoon Lorcan Mullany top, alongside a pair of Lime Green Gianvito Rossi vinyl slipper mules are just some of the pre-loved gems that come from Elkhaim’s own personal collection. Other standouts include eye-catching yellow plaid Tommy print pants, the Leia corset, Miaou’s first-ever bodice and a patent leather iteration from the brand’s FW22 line, alongside a retired sportswear line.
Miaou’s archival collection is offered in two separate drops — the first arrives on December 8, while the latter portion will be released on Tuesday, December 13.
